The Mines

Just traveled to North Wales to venture the mines. Inside the mines the coal was suffocating and the ground was hard and cold - it was terrible! I could barely see my own hands, it was that dark. I couldn't spend much time in there because it was so cramped. It's hard to imagine having to come down here every morning at 2 am, my heart is filled with sorrow for these children and women miners.

The Seed Drill

WOAH! Today I visited a farm! A real farm with real plants, something that is quite uncommon here in the future. It's amazing to see how different they grow food! I found what looks to be an early form of the seed drill, something I remember researching back at school. It was invented by Jethro Tull and it is said to be an important kick-start the industrial era. Very excited to see where I will be visiting next!

WOO! Made it back to the 18th century safely, keen to adventure through Great Britain and discover some of the FIRST inventions from the Industrial Revolution era.
